As of yet, Rolling Stone and Spin haven't written us up, but we're being very patient. L/L listeners' reviews and comments, though, quite often include sentiments such as "outstanding vocals and harmonies that are right on the money"... "great song selection"... "I haven't heard that song for years -- it's great!"... "I couldn't help but sing along to everything you played -- I knew all the words" ...and good stuff like that. Thanks very much, everyone; we appreciate it.

We've had some very kind words expressed by others as well:

Bo at NorthwestGigs.com: "Lewis/Lane is a dynamic pair of gifted singers and guitar players. Both Sean Lewis and Ron Lane Wiley share the same musical vision of tight harmonies, good musicianship and great songs, spanning Badfinger, the Eagles, Steely Dan, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Todd Rundgren, Toad the Wet Sprocket and many others. Any event or club would do itself proud to have these excellent entertainers on the bill."

Jorge Zorro (
www.jorgezorro.com) was also kind enough recently to comment, "You guys sounded great! The lead vocals and harmonies too were all right on." Why, thank you, Jorge; the check's in the mail.

A recent comment by a many-years veteran of the northwest fairs-and-festivals scene described us as one of the two best cover bands she's seen in years. "You guys own your songs, and it shows," she said (thank you very much). Then there was the lady in Richland who said "You guys are the best band we've heard since we moved here!" (And no, we didn't ask!)

We've played many dozens of venues over the years and are proud to say that every single one, since Day One, has asked us back -- among them Tacoma's famous Engine House #9, Puyallup's Meekers Days Festival, the Sumner Summer Arts Festival, the Bonney Lake Days Festival, Seattle's Celtic Swell, Crystal Mountain Resort, the Fire Creek Grill, Borders Books, the Bookwalter Winery in Richland and many others... (Yep, every single one.)

Also, check out this link to an article that appeared in the Puyallup Herald, and thanks very much to
Sarah Kahne for writing it.

We actually do
hang out in alleys
with our guitars
in our spare time --
really. It's how we
stay in touch with
our peeps and
keep it real...
whatever those
things mean...
