Yes, well, pull up a chair -- it's quite a story... After many years both playing in bands but never having met,
Sean and Ron were introduced many years ago in Bellingham, Washington, by a close mutual friend named Tom. That was the last they saw of one another for many more years until Tom one day mentioned to one of them that, coincidentally, they both lived in the same town (Puyallup, Washington) -- and that, hey, they might want to think about getting together to play some guitar.
Well it took a few more years, but one of them finally looked up the other one, and they did indeed get together to play some guitar. They also realized that they had a lot in common in music: both were huge Beatles fans, both wanted to do some writing and live performing, etc. So in the spring of 1996, they started putting together some arrangements for a guitar & vocal-duo of covers of Todd Rundgren, the Yardbirds, the Beatles, Peter & Gordon and more. That song list has today expanded to include, well, more Beatle tunes, as well as material from artists as varied as Toad the Wet Sprocket, Van Morrison, the Eagles, the Rolling Stones, the Wallflowers, the Grass Roots and many others -- as well as a growing list of original pieces that occasionally include the mandolin.
On the horizon is a recording project of both originals and cover tunes, as well as a continued presence at northwest venues and festivals.
Anyway, we both hope to see you sometime soon. And thanks for checking in.
